The “Asian Prince” Jang Keun Suk is a Korean actor, who officially entered entertainment circles at the age of 6 as a child model. At the age of 10, he made his drama performance debut in the 1997 HBS family sitcom, Selling Happiness. He became popular later on with television drama series including NONSTOP 4, Hwang Jin-i and Hong Gil Dong; he has recently become widely famous in both Japan and Asia with his outstanding performances in Korean dramas including You’re Beautiful and Mary Stayed Out All Night . In 2011, music enthusiast Jang Keun Suk invited BIG BROTHER, his best friend and music partner to work with him, which was the birth of Jang Keun Suk +Big Brother [TEAM H] – the most noticed KPOP Duo group in Asia. Their first album, The Lounge H Vol.1 was well received in Asia, created an exceptional result exceeding platinum record, and has received the “Best Annual Selling-Album Award” together with “Best Korean Album Award” for the 2012 IFPI Hong Kong Top Sales Music Award!
This year is the 20th Anniversary in the Entertainment circles for young and talented Jang Keun Suk although he is still at his early 20s. Other than his brilliant acting career, he will also be releasing his latest Korean album in Japan and Asia simultaneously in February, 2013, making further progress in his music career.
