Creating a Jang Keun Suk Interest List on Facebook

So now our Prince JKS has a Facebook page!!  축하해 ^^

And you may be thinking to yourself that you really want to keep track of everything he posts on Facebook and not let it get lost in your news feed along with everything else.

Facebook has a feature called an interest list:

Interest lists are an optional way to organize the content you're interested in on Facebook. You can create your own interest lists based on the things you care about, or follow other people's lists. For example, you could create a Top Indie Bands list that features bands' Pages and public updates from band members.

When you create or follow a list, you'll see the best posts from that list in your main news feed. Your lists will also appear in the Interests section of your bookmarks. Simply click the list's name to see all the recent posts and activity from the Pages and people featured in the list, without overwhelming your main news feed.  -Facebook

All this means is that you can keep all of your JKS updates organized in one feed by creating an interest list.  If your list only has JKS' page then that's all that will be shown, but you can also combine it with other eel pages to create one giant eel/jks/prince loving/fangirling/fanboying news feed.

Below are some screenshots of how to do this.

Click on Add to Interest Lists...

If you already have interest lists created from the past, when you click on "Add to interest lists..." it will simply ask you to choose which list to add it to or to create a new list.  If you have no interest lists, you will see a message like the one below:

Click on +New List...

From this page you can add additional pages, people, etc to the list or just leave only JKS' page.

Set your options for who can see your list and what you want to call it.  I was ever so creative with my naming ;)

Click done.

So....now you have made your list, how do you find it?  On your home screen on the left hand side there is always a list of menu options.  Your interest lists are located after the section on Apps:

Clicking on your list will take you to the feed for the list:

You will see all of the posts from whatever you have added to your list and you can manage your list and select what kinds of updates you want to see, the default is to see everything (which we all want). Then you can choose notification settings (if you made your list public).  The notifications are for when someone subscribes to your list (if you made it public), not to get notified about what is posted into the list.

In addition to regular Facebook, your interest lists are also available on the mobile version of Facebook my looking through the menu.

Hope this helps eels and enjoy your time on Facebook with JKS^^
